Climate and Environment
CPB has chosen to play a central role in analysing the impact of climate and environmental policy on the economy and general welfare — both qualitatively and, where possible, quantitatively. This includes the expected impacts of proposed policies and ex-post evaluations of current policies. Here, the focus is on climate policy. Identifying key economic policy issues around future relevant developments in technology, climate and environment is important for our work on policy evaluations, studies on the organisation of the market and other, ongoing research.
